Here’s another look of kids series that will be showing in Cannes, as MIP Jr. kicks off the market weekend tomorrow.

Parthenon Kids has taken on the worldwide distribution rights for new preschool animated series Castle Farm (25 x five minutes) from UK-based Impossible Television. Slated to air on Five (UK) next year, the prodco will be bringing the mixed-media title to MIPCOM.

Vodka Capital and Secuoyas have gone into pre-production on their 3-D animated kids musical series Jelly Jamm (52 x 11-minutes). The prodco is working at brand new Spanish animation studio 737 Shaker, which will be used for a range of animation projects alongside Jelly Jamm. Co-pro partners include TVE, Bandai and Big Picture, with Elefant Records signed on as musical partner,

Welsh broadcaster S4C will also be on hand at MIPCOM with a second season of preschool 2-D animated series Cwm Teg (32 x five minutes), based on traditional and modern nursery rhymes and songs.

Parthenon is distributing the series, which is a co-pro between Welsh animation company Dinamo, S4C, RTE and Parthenon, and will air on S4C this coming Christmas. It will also air on RTE in January 2010, re-branded as Happy Valley.
