Bob the Builder’s getting a brand new look, as Ready, Steady, Build! preps for its broadcast debut on Nick Jr. UK in 2010.
The new CG-animated series will focus on fun, play and building with an enhanced focus on characters, locations, familiarity and play patterns, which also offer new consumer products opps.
HIT has also renewed its EMEA master toy licensee agreement with RC2 for the property. The multi-territory, multi-category deal (excluding the US, UK and Japan) will see RC2 managing all toy category rights for Bob in EMEA territories from 2010. Martin Yaffe International will continue as the UK toy partner. RC2’s program will offer a new range of Bob product from spring 2010.
