New York-based creative company FlickerLab and Gonzoft Television Animation have merged to form Flickerlab LLC.
The new company will be creating projects with Tom Vedel at Gonzoft, now renamed FlickerLab Copenhagen, where the creative team will develop tools and technologies for content production in film, TV and the internet.
Using their proprietary Go real-time animation technology, the company will continue to create new content and is already working on a new production. The Wild Life (26 x five minutes) targets eight- to 12-year-olds and teaches them about climate change. Also in tow at MIP are the animated The Nelly Nut Show (104 x half hours) and Jukebox TV (140 x half hours), an interactive series show that’s run by one unmanned computer and allows viewers to use their phones or go online to select which videos will play, vote for the hit-list and chat and comment live on screen.
