As the newly formed Hasbro Studios settles into its L.A. base, it’s continuing to round out its exec ranks with a duo of hires joining president Stephen J. Davis.

Linda Steiner is stepping into the role of head of girls and preschool programming. A kids entertainment vet, she comes from Warner Bros. Animation as its SVP of creative affairs, where she oversaw development and production of The Batman, Legion of Super Heroes and Teen Titans. She also boasts experience at Cartoon Network and ABC Entertainment in the children’s entertainment division.

And a promotion will see Lisa Licht trading her GM of entertainment and licensing at Hasbro post to take the role of GM at the new studio. In the past she’s held a number of senior posts at Twentieth Century Fox and Mattel, managing the worldwide Barbie brand. Her new role will see her working with Davis on strategy, operations, and coordinating the activities between the studio and the Hasbro-Discovery JV network, slated for a fall 2010 debut.
