With the fourth installment of DreamWorks Animation’s Shrek franchise heading for the big screen next July, UK-based Vivid Imaginations has come on board as the property’s master toy licensee for a multi-territory deal.
Vivid’s line of regular and interactive plush, made in conjunction with Playmates Toys, includes figures, playsets and role play accessories. TV commercials will hit the airwaves in late-June with the Wise-cracking Shrek product at the forefront.
DWA is also rolling out a huge ad and promo platform to support Shrek Forever After, along with a line of licensees. Product will hit retail starting early June with the DVD release scheduled for Q4 2010.
