Barcelona-based prodco Imira Entertainment has signed a raft of sales with major Iberian broadcasters across its third-party library, while DQE has new Iron Man deals in the works.
TV3 Catalunya has renewed Millimages’ 64 Zoo Lane (52 x 11 minutes) and acquired the new season (26 x 11 minutes), along with picking up season one of Eliot Kid (52 x 13 minutes) from Samka, ZDF Enterprises’ Fun with Claude (52 x 12 minutes) and Shaolin Wuzang (26 x 26 minutes).
In Portugal, RTP has snapped up a trio of Millimages series, including Pablo The Little Red Fox (52 x five minutes), Corneil & Bernie (52 x 13 minutes) and Louie (117 x seven minutes).
DQ Entertainment, meanwhile, has inked a free-to-air TV distribution license agreement with Metropolis Television INC for Iron Man: Armored Adventures (26 x 26 minutes).
The three-year deal begins August 2010 and will bring the animated series to air in 13 territories, including India, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and South Korea. Cartoon Network acquired the pay-TV broadcast rights from DQE for the ASEAN region, and DQE owns the audio and video rights to the series in this region.
