People moves: Hasbro Studios taps industry vet as exec producer

Joining the growing exec team at the new L.A.-based Hasbro Studios is Kathy Samuels as executive producer.

Having served as SVP at CBS Television Distribution Group and NBC, Samuels comes to Hasbro with a strong resumé, overseeing the development, launch and programming of such shows as Rachael Ray, Entertainment Tonight and The Insider. Her new role will see her managing production on a number of the new studio’s creative initiatives, covering a variety of program genres.
