HIT Entertainment/Chello Media JV preschool channel JimJam is readying an exclusive series for launch next year.
Jarmies, from London-based prodco Jarmies LTD, will get airtime on the channel on the Sky Italia feed starting January 4, 2010. It will then be fully dubbed for rollout to other JimJam international feeds including across the EMEA.
The series was developed with assistance from the Institute of Education, University of London and follows a group of little stars that learn about their garden environment and each other. It’s intermixed with live-action footage featuring two young children named Tim and Holly, and the Italian version will be narrated by well-known local Italian actor, Lorenzo Ciompi.
