HIT Entertainment and 24-hour preschool channel Sprout have teamed up to launch a new line of DVDs for preschoolers and their parents.
The new series ‘Let’s Grow’ will hone in on life skills and lessons for the wee ones, featuring familiar characters from HIT and Sprout, including Barney, Bob the Builder and Thomas & Friends. Lionsgate Home Entertainment will release the first installment Lend a Helping Hand on January 12, 2010, with the next title to follow in Q2 2010.
Each DVD in the series will come with a printed Parent Resource Guide and have eps weaved together by live action segments featuring hosts from Sprout’s original Sunny Side Up Show and Chica the Chicken. They’ll introduce the eps, make crafts and play games themed to each release.
