Toei Animation has secured several sales with LatAm broadcasters and is relaunching classic anime series Sailormoon in Italy.
Megavision TV (Chile) is taking Dragon Ball, while Rede TV (Brazil) has picked up Digimon Frontier. Meanwhile, Five Stars will be repping the DVD rights for Digimon Adventures in Brazil.
Over in Italy, Toei and indie licensing agency Backstage have signed a deal to relaunch anime Sailormoon in the territory, with Backstage managing TV, publishing, merchandising and theatrical release rights. Mediaset has already purchased the TV rights and is slated to air season one this coming fall.
