DreamWorks Animation has appointed UK-based Bulldog Licensing as the UK agent for three of its upcoming CG-animated features: Rise of the Guardians, The Croods and Turbo.
Fisher-Price and Mattel have already signed on as master toy partners for The Croods and Turbo, respectively, and D3 Publishers is set to develop interactive products for all three titles.
Contemporary fairytale Rise of the Guardians, which opens November 21, follows the adventures of Jack Frost, Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, Sandman and the Easter Bunny, as they join forces to battle an evil spirit known as Pitch.
The Croods, slated for release on March 22, 2013, is a pre-historic adventure starring the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, and Emma Stone, while Turbo, slated for release on July 19, 2013, centers around an ordinary garden snail (Ryan Reynolds) who dreams of becoming the greatest Indy race car driver in the world.
The latest deal comes on the heels of DreamWorks and its new distributor 20th Century Fox revealing an unprecedented 12-picture slate for 2013 to 2016.
