Frank Saperstein exits eOne, launches Surprise Bag

Industry veteran Frank Saperstein has left his position as SVP of Family Television for Entertainment One Group and launched Surprise Bag, a new L.A.-based entertainment development company.

Industry veteran Frank Saperstein has left his position as SVP of Family Television for Entertainment One Group and launched Surprise Bag, a new L.A.-based entertainment development company.

As owner and executive producer, Saperstein will look to create, finance, produce, and package content for kids, families and new demos across platforms.

During his four-year stint at eOne, he executive produced the animated comedy, The Dating Guy in partnership with Toronto’s marblemedia, and the Teletoon tween comedy Majority Rules.

Prior to joining eOne, he was SVP of Kids and Animated Programming for Blueprint Entertainment and earlier served as the co-CEO and creative director of Philippine Animation Studio.
