Teleimedi in Georgia has scooped up The Troop, Double Dare and El Tigre plus SpongeBob SquarePants and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Ecuavisa in Ecuador has renewed its license for Rugrats.
Meanwhile, as the July premiere of Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ The Last Airbender nears, Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products has signed several international territory deals. The new deals join master global toy licensee Spin Master, global DVD partner Paramount and global interactive games partner THQ.
Multi-territory and local deals include apparel licenses with TV Mania, Collective Brands, Mlab Concepts and Aykroyds. Simon & Schuster UK, Egmont UK and Egmont VGS, Random House and Alligator Publishing have all taken varying publishing right. Herding Heimtextil has signed a deal for bedding.
In the stationery categories Trends International, Alpa UK, Paperline Designs and Union-Transit Company have signed major deals, alongside Procos for party paperware. Poster and badges are signed to Pyramid International, accessories to Sandylion, dress up to Rubies, puzzles to Toyster and back packs to Vast Sky.
