Decode Enterprises has scored two major broadcast sales for the Halifax Film-produced sketch comedy show That’s So Weird!

Boomerang Latin America and Nickelodeon Australia have both snapped up the 13 x half-hour live-action series for tweens and teens, which airs on YTV in Canada.

Decode represents worldwide rights to That’s So Weird!, which has an overarching back story, sitcom elements and funny sketches. The series centers around fictional Weird TV, a forgotten television network of JamCo manufacturing conglomerate. When Alana, one of the cast, comes looking for a summer job, she accidentally winds up managing the cable network and does what all new station managers do, fire the existing team and hire her friends.

That’s So Weird! was created by Halifax Film’s Jeff Copeland and executive produced by Gary Pearson, Jeff Copeland, Michael Donovan, Charles Bishop and Floyd Kane.
