BBC Worldwide Channels’ flagship channel, BBC America, has appointed John Taite as VP of multiplatform programming.
In the new gig, Taite’s responsible for developing BBC Worldwide’s US editorial strategy for branded digital platforms, future genre channels and other programming initiatives.
Taite recently held the position of BBC Worldwide’s VP of programming for EMEA, where he oversaw the launch of 12 channels in the region.
A search for Taite’s replacement as VP of programming for EMEA is currently underway.
