RDF Rights, part of the RDF Media Group, has secured two new deals with Scandinavian broadcasters NRK and SVT for kid’s live-action shows Tricky TV and Trapped.
Kid’s magic show Tricky TV (23 x half hours), produced by RDF Media Group’s Foundation, has been licensed to the Norwegian broadcaster NRK, who joins a number of broadcasters including MBC (Middle East), Teletoon (France), Super RTL (Germany), Disney Japan, Nick India, Mediacorp in Singapore for Okto Channel and Cartoon Network in Korea, South East Asia, Australia, the Philippines and New Zealand.
A third series of Tricky TV is currently in production, following the recent announcement that CITV (UK) has commissioned the Foundation to produce a further slate of 20 x 30-minunte episodes.
In Sweden, RDF Rights has inked a deal with SVT for tween drama series Trapped (52 x half hours). RDF Rights acquired the worldwide distribution rights to the children’s drama series from Northway Productions Pty Ltd in March 2009. Commissioned by Channel 7 Australia, Trapped is the story of kids who grow up at a remote scientific research station.
