Planeta Junior Italia has inked a series of licensing agreements, covering Italy, for the Puppy in my Pocket, Maya the Bee and Heidi brands.
Home accessories company Geca will develop Puppy in my Pocket-branded products, such as home fragrance, boxes for cabinets and boxes for games. Hermet Novia, meanwhile, is producing a range of sheets, duvet covers, comforters, bedspreads, towels and bathrobes based on Puppy in my Pocket. And Joygum will develop Puppy-themed confectionery, such as bubble gum with figurine, lollipop with figurine and jelly sweets.
A Gruppo Preziosi, Meg Toys and Mondo TV co-production, animated series Puppy in my Pocket is set to start airing on Italia 1 in October.
Planeta Junior Italia has also tapped Mania as the Italian confectionery licensee for Studio 100’s Maya the Bee, who will appear jelly sweets, jelly lollipops and honey.
And starting this month, following an agreement between Planeta Junior and Edicart publishing, the iconic Heidi television character will appear in pop-up books, sound books, DVD books, coloring books and educational books.
