Paris-based prodco Millimages has inked a licensing and merchandising deal that sees BBC Worldwide acquire global licensing rights (excluding the French-speaking world) for Millimages’ hit animated preschool series 64 Zoo Lane (104 x 11 minutes).
The series features the nighttime adventures of a young girl named Lucy who escapes with her friend Georgina the giraffe to a nearby zoo where she learns new and funny things about the animals who live there.
The deal comes on the heels of Millimages inking a broadcasting deal with Germany’s KiKA for its new 62 x 11-minute animated preschool series Mouk.
