CBeebies has tapped Kent, England’s The Foundation, a Zodiak Kids indie studio, to produce a new 26 x 11-minute preschool series called Let’s Play.

Heading into production this summer to air on CBeebies later in the year, the show encourages kids to discover life through creative role-play, dressing up and imagination.

Each ep centers around an adventure had by popular CBeebies presenter Sid Sloane and a yet-to-be-confirmed female presenter, who will enter animated worlds as different characters.

The Foundation’s Vanessa Hill is on-board to executive produce, along with CBeebies’ Michael Towner.

Let’s Play joins Waybuloo, Mister Maker Comes to Town and upcoming Nick preschool series Tickety Toc in The Foundation’s kids library.
