Nickelodeon Consumer Products (NCP) and New Jersey, US-based publisher Wiley are teaming to launch Dora and Diego Let’s Cook, set to hit retailers this August. Based on the iconic preschool television characters Dora the Explorer and Diego, Dora and Diego Let’s Cook will teach kids to make 50 health-conscious recipes while including Spanish words along the way.

This marks the first Dora and Diego-branded cookbook, and the first of two Nickelodeon-branded children’s cookbooks planned under the partnership, to be followed by a SpongeBob cookbook in fall 2011.

Also, NCP announced a licensing agreement with Allstar Products Group to produce SpongeBob SquarePants and Dora the Explorer Snuggie blankets, Bendaroos building sticks and Touch N’ Brush hands free toothpaste dispensers.
