LA-based prodco Rubicon Studios has appointed Marlene Sharp to the newly created position of director of development, where she will be responsible for finding IPs for the studio to develop across all platforms, along with seeking out production and co-production partners for new and existing properties.
Sharp will join Rubicon’s growing LA team and report to executive producer David J. Corbett. She joins the company from Two Twiggs & A Berry Productions, where she served as co-CEO/producer. Prior to Two Twigs, Sharp was producer/manager of distribution and marketing at Enemes, a South Korean company with offices in Los Angeles, where she contributed to animated properties such as Higglytown Heroes and Z-Squad.
