Milan, Italy-based Atlantyca Entertainment’s animated series Geronimo Stilton (season two) has been granted a second run on Italy’s RAI 2 after premiering to significant ratings in October 2011.

The series, which follows the life and adventures of mouse journalist Geronimo, will return to the channel weekday mornings beginning February 29, 2012 at 7:00 a.m.

In addition, RAI Gulp, the pubcaster’s dedicated kids digital channel, which continues to air Geronimo Stilton season one, will begin broadcasting the new episodes every day at 3:40 p.m. beginning March 1, 2012.

Geronimo Stilton, an Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop production with the participation of RAI Fiction, France Télévisions and M6, is based on the popular book series of the same name, and the IP has moved into videogames, licensed merchandise and a live stage production.
