UK-based Bulldog Licensing has landed a trio of licensing deals for the BBC’s cat and dog Roobarb and Custard property.
These include Fred and Ginger (pet accessories), Fatspanner (pub entertainment machines) and Diablo Skinz (mobile phone, tablet and laptop skins).
Roobarb and Custard were created by Grange Calveley in the early 1970s and the original series aired on the BBC into the 1980s. A new show, Roobard and Custard Too, returned in 2005 and was broadcast on Channel Five in the UK.
The new deals add to the property’s growing list of licensees: Mogzilla (publishing), Poetic Gem (apparel), Museums and Galleries (greetings), PMS (amusement plush), and Riviera (canvas wall art).
