Radial Entertainment, the months-old company that resulted from the merger of FilmRise and Shout! Studios, has revealed the names of several execs from both companies who will manage the combined catalogue going forward.
Radial controls the rights to more than 70,000 movies and TV episodes, making it one of the larger independent distributors in the industry. Its library includes kids & family titles such as The Last Unicorn and The Dark Crystal.
To manage this much bigger content business, the company has put several Shout! and FilmRise staffers in new roles. Longtime Shout! acquisitions exec Jordan Fields and FilmRise head of content Jonitha Keymoore have both been tapped to work as SVPs of content acquisitions. And Shout!’s Jeffrey Peisch has been named Radial’s SVP of programming and new business development.
Shout!’s former kids & family acquisitions boss Melissa Boag (pictured) is switching gears to serve as chief marketing officer for the new company. In her previous role, Boag brokered significant content deals with The Jim Henson Company, Aardman and GKIDS.
