DEALS: Sesame Workshop and Phreesia make waiting for the doctor a little easier

Plus, Wondr Experience Amsterdam will launch a Barbie-themed attraction this fall.

  • Sesame Workshop has inked a five-year partnership with healthcare software company Phreesia to support pediatric health. Phreesia, which runs a digital patient intake platform, will launch its campaign starting in October. During the wait to see a doctor, families can view educational content about keeping kids healthy—all delivered by the characters of Sesame Street. This collab leverages the nonprofit’s long history of demystifying healthcare to make going to the doctor less scary for kids. 
  • Amsterdam-based museum Wondr Experience is teaming up with Mattel for an immersive attraction launching in September. Aimed at all ages, Barbie: The Dream Experience will feature interactive zones based on different eras of the iconic doll brand, eventually leading up to a life-sized Barbie DreamHouse that fans can explore. The companies are also setting up an exclusive merchandising store and a Barbie-inspired cafĂ© as part of the experience.
