- WildBrain CPLG has promoted its Asia–Pacific location-based entertainment guru Evi Sari (pictured) to the newly created role of VP of global location-based entertainment. In her new role, Sari will spearhead the expansion of WildBrain CPLG’s branded family entertainment centers to new markets, focusing initially on Europe and the Middle East. Joining her is new hire Danielle Tanton, who will support Sari’s strategies in these regions as director of EMEA location-based entertainment, experiential strategy and partnerships.
- Content development expert Antonia Gutierrez Arias has landed at Disney as its new director of content and inclusion. She is coming off a one-year stint as the director of development at Wind Sun Sky Entertainment, where she oversaw the development of several projects and IP adaptations, spanning animation, live-action graphic novels and Roblox games. Arias has also held executive roles at Rooster Teeth (manager of TV development) and Nickelodeon (manager of animation).
- Eolo Toys is aiming to bolster its presence in the US and Canada by hiring former Spin Master exec Brenda Elliott as its VP of business development in North America. Elliott will develop and execute strategic initiatives across these key markets and forge new partnerships to support its toy brands. Eolo’s licensed toy portfolio includes Toikido’s Beep Boop collectibles, Disney Princess fidget toys and Marvel Super Bouncerz balls.
