Actress and comedian Caroline Rhea will host the 26th annual gala for global children’s charity Kids in Distressed Situations (K.I.D.S.) on December 8 in New York.

This year’s gala, which will draw executives from the retail, fashion, and children’s industries, will honor JC Penney, Levi’s and Delta Children’s Products for their leadership in helping children and families in need.

Table sponsorships for the event run from US$10,000 to US$50,000, while individual tickets are US$1,000. For more information about tickets and sponsorships, please contact K.I.D.S. at kids_gala@frontier.com.

Since 1985, the organization has provided 67 million children in need with more than US$1 billion worth of new clothing, shoes, toys, basic necessities, juvenile products and books.
