- In the lead-up to Warner Bros. Discovery’s split next year, the company has announced the senior leadership team for Warner’s streaming and studios business. Joining WB president and CEO David Zaslav are Motion Picture Group co-chairs Pam Abdy and Mike De Luca; DC Studios CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran; and TV Group CEO and chairman Channing Dungey. A WB spokesperson has confirmed with Kidscreen that Sam Register will still head up Warner Bros. Animation, Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe and Cartoon Network Studios as president, reporting to Dungey.
- Radial Entertainment, the newly formed distribution company resulting from the merger of FilmRise and Shout! Studios, has bolstered its senior leadership ranks with several new appointments to drive new business for its catalogue of more than 70,000 films and TV shows. Former FilmRise execs David Buoymaster and Johnny Holden will serve as chief investment officer and chief strategy and revenue officer, respectively. And Shout!’s ex-EVP David McIntosh will take on a new post as EVP of content and business affairs.
