- Dandelooo Cinéma has pre-sold its 2D-animated feature film Born in the Jungle (pictured) to four buyers ahead of Annecy next week: Little KMBO (France), Folkets Bio (Sweden), Luftkind Filmverleigh (Germany) and Rita & Luca Films (Spain). This pic is about a young girl named Elizabeth who goes on a quest to rescue her brother Leo when he vanishes into the jungle during summer vacation.
- High Touch Entertainment has signed a pair of first licensing deals for its tentpole educational content franchise The Spark. Andrews McMeel Publishing is working on a kids graphic novel called The Spark Experiment, and Teddy Mountain will create DIY plush kits featuring The Spark’s animated characters later this year.
- Rubies has inked an exclusive agreement with Studiocanal to manufacture and distribute a Paddington dress-up collection for UK retailers. The range will roll out in December, including Paddington-branded costumes and accessories for both kids and adults.
