Disney Jr. shows dominate preschool streaming in the US

On the heels of Disney’s buzzy new deal to take over streaming CoComelon in 2027, some updated Nielsen data is shedding light on the extent of the media giant’s dominance when it comes to entertaining US preschoolers.

The top three streaming shows for this demo in Q1 2025 all hail from the Disney Jr. library, with Aussie behemoth Bluey (unsurprisingly) leading the pack. Sitting in second place is Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends, followed by older series Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which has been off the air since 2016.

This ranking was sourced from a Nielsen Media Research Streaming Content Ratings report in which the research firm tracked hours viewed for streaming series between December 30, 2024 and March 20, 2025.

Combining last year’s viewing total with new Q1 2025 data from Nielsen, Bluey has racked up more than 70 billion minutes of watch time in the US during this period from December 30, 2023 to April 6, 2025.

These stats are likely helping to shape Disney’s strategy to invest in expanding its top-performing preschool titles. To this end, Spidey is rolling out a fourth season next month, and Disney is also producing a spinoff called Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends that will drop sometime this year.

Even Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, which is a fixture of the back catalogue, is getting a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ revamp that’s been in the works since 2023.
