Adding nine kids & family YouTube channels to its roster of creator partners, Pocket.watch will co-develop/co-produce content and distribute the existing catalogues of ChuChu TV (175 million subscribers), Super Simple Songs (60.7 million), Not Enough Nelsons (15.1 million), SuperHeroKids (7.5 million), Tyler & Snowi (4.4 million), The River, Wilder & Archer Show (1.8 million), Kylee Makes It (270,000), PrettyBored (two million) and The Braxton, Ryder & Sawyer Show (920,000).
Standouts in the group are preschool-skewing channels ChuChu TV and Super Simple Songs, which have collectively racked up nearly 200 billion views with a mix of nursery rhymes and educational songs aimed at YouTube’s youngest audience.
But the rest of the new partners run the gamut in terms of themes, from superhero-focused roleplay (SuperHeroKids) and family humor (Not Enough Nelsons), to outdoor adventure (The River, Wilder & Archer Show) and sketch comedy (PrettyBored). All told, they bring the reach of pocket.watch’s network up to 1.29 billion subscribers, and the company says its creator partners are now delivering a combined 10.6 billion monthly views.
Beyond constent distribution new making new content, Pocket.watch will also handle YouTube monetization, sell branded integrations and manage YouTube advertising for these newly signed channels through its ad sales division Clock.Work. According to a release, Pocket.watch has facilitated more than US$100 million in partner payouts to date through content distribution, ad sales and franchise extensions.
