HaperCollins Children’s Books UK has a new marketing director in consumer and retail marketing strategist Nicola Way.

Way was most recently a board director at Iris Nation, the UK’s largest independent integrated marketing agency with clients including Orange, Coca Cola and Disney.  Prior to that, she held senior marketing posts at Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment and Tesco.

Way says she was drawn to the publishing house – home to classics including The Chronicles of Narnia, the Paddington stories and The Cat in the Hat series – during an exciting and challenging time for children’s books. She will take up her post in January.
