- Sinking Ship Entertainment has closed new international sales for its live-action preschool series Dino Dex (13 x 22 minutes, pictured) with ITVX Kids (UK), ABC Kids (Australia), and Hop! (Israel). These broadcasters join existing partners including Amazon Kids+ (US), TVOKids (Canada), TFO (Canada) and SVT (Sweden).
- Monster Loving Maniacs distributor Toon2Tango is moving into a co-producing role on the 2D-animated series, joining Ja Film and Ginger Pictures as they embark on making season two (52 x 11 minutes). Meanwhile, Mediawan Kids & Family will take over selling both seasons on the heels of Toon2Tango’s portfolio being folded into its distribution catalogue last month.
- Meta Media Entertainment has sold Studio Film Bilder’s 2D-animated series Lena’s Farm (30 x 11 minutes) to European broadcasters including Disney+, YLE (Finland), SVT (Sweden), DR (Denmark), NRK (Norway), NPO (Netherlands) and SRF (Switzerland). Additionally, the toon’s five-minute episode “Full Nest” has been selected to compete at the 2025 Annecy International Film Festival.
- Jakks Pacific’s Disguise division has inked an exclusive licensing agreement with SEGA of America to manufacture and distribute new Sonic the Hedgehog costumes across North America, Latin America and EMEA. Prior to this bigger deal, the company manufactured costume ranges based on the live-action Sonic the Hedgehog films from Paramount and WildBrain’s Sonic Prime series.
