Alton Towers Resort is harnessing kids mega-brand Bluey for a new hotel room experience on offer at its CBeebies Land attraction in Staffordshire, England.
Reservations opened for booking today, and the CBeebies Land Hotel will welcome guests to stay in the world’s first Bluey-themed rooms starting on May 25. As pictured in the concept art, they will reflect the TV show’s color palette, with characters featured on a range of interior decor and wall art.
Operated by Merlin Entertainments, Alton Towers is among the UK’s most-attended theme parks, with more than two million visitors coming through its doors in 2022, according to Statista.
CBeebies Land opened in 2014 to cater to Alton’s youngest visitors with preschool-friendly experiences inspired by the BBC kids channel brands, such as a Peter Rabbit theme park ride and a Teletubbies stage show And its hotel already features branded rooms for Bing, Postman Pat and Octonauts.
Market Research Future forecasts that the themed hotel industry will grow from US$14 billion in 2023 to US$20 billion by 2032, buoyed by today’s strong interest in experiential travel among Millennials and families with young children.
