Forecasts are trickling in on what will likely be this holiday season’s top-selling products.

The latest comes from Experian-owned online comparison shopping site PriceGrabber, which combined its analytics with Google Trends to come up with the products most likely to generate consumer excitement this upcoming season. Not surprisingly, items in the tech category are likely to dominate, especially in the areas of tablet computers and next-generation smartphones.

The forecasted items include the electronic Mattel Loopz Game, Fisher-Price Dance Star Mickey interactive plush toy, My Pillow Pets, Apple iPod Touch, Apple iPad 2 and the Kinect for Xbox 360.

Both the Apple iPhone 5, which is slated to hit shelves this fall, and the LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer (pictured) are also anticipated to be hits with consumers this upcoming season.
