Dutch distributor Incredible Film has signed on to sell upcoming live-action series SAÏD & ANNA (16 x 6.5 minutes) internationally.
The show centers around two best friends who hang out at a repair shop and share a passion for fixing broken objects brought in by town locals.
Amsterdam-based Phanta Basta! (Engel) produces the series, with Hilt Lochten attached as director. Penning the scripts are Jeanine Cronie, Fiona van Heemstra and Elin Wramneby.
With a budget of US$1.6 million, SAÏD & ANNA will begin filming on April 28 and is slated to debut October 21 on EO/NPO in the Netherlands.
A number of other European broadcasters are already on board as co-pro partners, including SWR (Germany), KiKA (Germany) and Ketnet (Belgium).
Incredible Film also distributes kids and family films from the Netherlands, such as Circus Noël (2019), about a group of kids trying to save a circus; and Raspberries with Mustard (2021), which revolves around a 13-year-old girl who can fly.
