More than 200 book titles are being added to New York-based Sterling Publishing’s catalogue with its acquisition of Boxer Books.

Headquartered in London, Boxer specializes in picture books for kids ages seven and under. It has released titles such as A Home for Hare and Mouse, Big Smelly Bear and Have You Seen Matilda (pictured).

All of its older books that are still in print, along with dozens of more recent projects, will now be published under the Union Square Kids and Boxer Books imprints. This acquisition creates an opportunity for Boxer to do business in new global markets, and for Sterling to expand its preschool offerings, according to a release.

Through its portfolio of imprints, which includes anchor publisher Union Square & Co., Sterling already has an extensive list of books and partnerships under its belt. The Barnes & Noble subsidiary currently has more than 5,000 titles in print, including books by Mo Willems, Sarah Lynne Reul and Immanuel Kant. Sterling also has partnerships with consumer products brands like Funko, and publishes books for companies including Hearst and Hasbro.
