The Walt Disney Company France is launching its first stand-alone branded digital video ‘stores’ in Europe. Available exclusively on Freebox TV, Disneytek and ABCtek are new multi-platform entertainment services that will be entirely dedicated to both Disney and ABC programming.

Starting April 14, Free TV subscribers will be able to stream content to their computers and/or TVs and transfer programming via other compatible devices such as games consoles, tablets and mobile phones.

The licensed programming set to hit Disneytek include animated films like Toy Story 3 and Finding Nemo, live-action blockbusters like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End and TV series like Hannah Montana and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. ABCtek will feature episodes of ABC Studios series including Grey’s Anatomy and Castle.

New series will be added regularly along with new feature films, which will be offered simultaneously with their release on DVD/Blu-ray. The films will be available in French as well as in their original subtitled versions.
