Kids’ distribution, brand management and entertainment company Moonscoop has secured further sales for its animated shows in Asia following last month’s Asia Television Forum in Singapore.
In Thailand, Truevisions has acquired Gasp and The DaVincibles, while public channel PBS has signed Chloe’s Closet and SamSam season two. In Malaysia, NTV 7 has picked up Geronimo Stilton and The DaVincibles and has renewed The Fantastic Four. Indonesia’s PT Crown Entertainment has bought Hero:108 TV and home video rights, while Taiwan’s kids channel yoyo tv and Korean IPVOD channel KTH have both picked up Chloe’s Closet. In a further deal, Hong Kong IPVOD channel PCCW has also bought season one of Dive Olly Dive for their NOW TV network.
The new sales follow Moonscoop’s increased presence in Asia at the end of last year, when the company signed deals for more than 170 half hours of programming with broadcasters in the region.
