In a move to aggregate, package and license international content for global distribution, Israel-based RRsat Global Communications Network has granted DISH Network the license to three Israeli channels, including IsraKids.
IsraKids is among the new channels that will be included in the new Israeli Select package for US broadcast and is the first 24/7 all-original children programming channel from Israel featuring original shows from Noga Communications. DISH Network provides content to more than 14.2 million satellite TV customers.
RRsat’s new international distribution model will allow multichannel platform operators, such as DISH Network, to deliver a broader array of ethnic and genre-based programming to their subscribers.
