Career at a Glance
– Graduated from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, with a BA in political science and received an MBA from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.
– Joined Procter & Gamble’s food division in 1986 as a brand assistant, and became an assistant brand manager in 1987.
-The next year, joined The Walt Disney Company’s consumer products division as marketing manager. Moved on to the position of director in 1989, director/business manager-collectibles in 1991, and then vice president-collectibles in 1992. Directed the $100-million international business devoted to manufacturing and marketing Disney collectible products.
The New Job
– Appointed senior vice president of the licensing and merchandising division of Saban Entertainment. Lee will be responsible for creating merchandising programs for Saban and Fox Children’s Network franchises.
The Challenge
– ‘Maintaining a strong strategic focus or building our brand franchises while maximizing the potential for those properties that we represent. Key to this challenge will be developing strong licensee and retail partnerships.’
