Nickelodeon has teamed up with Target Stores, one of the fastest-growing discount retailers in the U.S., to create a program for Back-to-School 1996. During the six-week period up to September 8, Nickelodeon will build in-store presence with signage, endcaps and opportunity carts of Nickelodeon licensed products.

To support the promotion, Nickelodeon will be featured in six weekly Sunday newspaper circulars, in addition to on-air spots running from August 11 to September 1.

Throughout the six weeks, two million door prizes from Nickelodeon Magazine and Nick Jr.’s new preschool play-along show will also be distributed to kids as they leave the stores.
