Newly relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, E3 ’97 throws the spotlight on the interactive world June 19 to 21 in an exhibition space the size of 35 football fields.

NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw delivers the keynote address that launches the third annual E3, and Intel president and CEO Andrew S. Grove, president and CEO of Intel talks the next day about what’s ahead for household PCs and interactive software.

The trade show has become a ‘must-attend’ for anyone involved in buying, selling and developing interactive media for the growing home digital entertainment and education market. At last year’s show, 450 exhibitors displayed approximately 1,700 new software titles. The nearly 59,000 attendees were mainly developers (46.7 percent), followed by distributors and retailers (42.5 percent).

In addition to exhibits, six conference series will be presented, in association with Computer Game Developers Association, Interactive Services Association and Coopers & Lybrand L.L.P. Seminars will cover managing business trends, surviving the technology explosion, game development, trends in on-line entertainment, retail distribution and marketing, and financing new media.
