PolyGram Filmed Entertainment has been granted the worldwide rights to create interactive and handheld products based on its preschool property Maisy. PolyGram plans to roll out the product at retail with the debut of the new television show, Maisy, which will air on the Nickelodeon preschool block, Nick Jr., in the spring of 1999. The Copyrights Group is overseeing the Maisy licensing program. Both PolyGram and The Copyrights Group are working on a comprehensive promotion and marketing effort for the 52 x five-minute/13 x 30-minute series.
