Granada Media Products has signed a deal with Random House for Titch, a book-based television character. The deal, which includes the publishing of four titles this fall, in addition to Titch-themed coloring, activity and picture storybooks for release in 1999, coincides with the announcement that Yorkshire TV is producing 13 new animated episodes for broadcast on ITV, bringing the total to 26. Author Pat Hutchens created the character in 1972.
