PARIS: Belgian animation house Neurones is establishing a second studio in France. The new studio, Toonimage, will be located in Angoulme and will be dedicated to 3-D and real-time animation for TV and video games. Toonimage will be an extension of Neurones’ already existing Animatoon, which specializes in 2-D animation. Toonimage’s first series will be a 26 x 26-minute co-production between Neurones, Antéfilms, Cinar and M6.

Neurones consists of four production houses in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, and six studios: Animatoon and Toonimage in France, Luxanima in Luxembourg, Big Bang in Belgium, Neurones Korea in South Korea and Neurones Animation in Belgium.
