Fox Family Channel will be celebrating its first Christmas by airing over 175 hours of holiday programming in December’s ‘The 25 Days of Christmas’ lineup, including the world premiere movie Like Father, Like Santa, starring Harry Hamlin and Gary Coleman, and vintage holiday fare, the likes of Year Without Santa Claus.
One of the titles Fox picked up is Scrooge Koala’s Christmas (voiced by Leo McKern of Rumpole of the Bailey fame), an animated Christmas special from Australia’s Energee Entertainment in association with U.S.-based Artisan that will also premiere on the BBC. Artisan, the special’s North American rights holder, also made a sale to Canada’s TV Ontario and plans a North American home video release.
