CAKE, Fresh TV get more Dramarama

Cartoon Network US and Canada's Teletoon have renewed Total Dramarama for a second season.

Cartoon Network US and Canadian kidcaster Teletoon have committed to a second season of Canadian prodco Fresh TV’s Total Dramarama. The animated series is produced by Fresh TV, in association with Teletoon and Cartoon Network US, and distributed internationally by London-based CAKE.

Currently in production on 52 new episodes, the show is created by Tom McGillis and Jennifer Pertsch, and is part of the Total Drama franchise which first premiered in 2007 with Total Drama Island. The latest spin-off premiered in the US and Canada in 2018.

For CAKE, this renewal follows two recent partnerships with Finnish prodco Ferly on the new animated series Dragon Girl and Kingdom of Noneas well as one with LA’s Atomic Toybox Entertainment on a new Captain Action series.
