Elfy, a 26 x 26-minute, cel-animated series centering on the adventures of an elf-like character in a mythical fairytale setting, is in preproduction at Spain’s PPM Multimedia studio. Milimetros, Spanish creator and primary producer of the series, will provide up to 30% of the project’s US$5.7 million budget. Co-production partners to supply the balance are currently being sought. The project, which targets kids ages six to 12, is expected to be completed in a year and a half once production is underway.
