Regina, Saskatchewan-based Minds Eye announced a European co-production deal with Buena Vista International for the fourth season of the Incredible Story Studio series. Some of the new season’s episodes will be shot in the U.K. and France, with two more added for Germany in 2001. The series is comprised of real kids actual stories, and the budget will exceed US$5 million. It has already been sold to Latin America, the U.S., France, Germany, Ireland, the U.K., Australia, South Africa, China, Israel and Singapore.

Minds Eye and Moose Jaw Light and Power Artistic Production Company in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan have joined together to produce Prairie Berry Pie, a 13 x 30-minute live-action series involving puppets, people and slapstick humor. The show is aimed at two- to six-year-olds and will touch on themes such as sharing, friendship. It will also include music and child actors. The show debuts on Saskatchewan Communications Network (SCN) this month and in fall 2000 it will be broadcast across Canada on Global Television Network. SD
